Position Summary
University of the Incarnate Word is seeking qualified Part-Time Faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Kinesiology, Sport Management, and Wellness for the School of Nursing & Health Professions. Faculty are assigned for one term at a time.
Part-time faculty are not eligible for University benefit programs.

Essential Functions
Preparation of course outline is based on syllabus provided by the department. Evaluation of student performance is through either exams, papers, or assessment of student skills. Includes other administrative duties needed to complete the teaching and grading processes.

Job Duties


Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Required Education
Master of Science in related area or bachelors with certification in specific area. Terminal degree or extensive experience required to teach graduate level courses.

Required Work Experience


Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience at the baccalaureate or graduate level is desired.

Preference will be given to candidates willing and qualified to teach a variety of classroom and activity courses within department.
